Close sources have denied the speculation regarding Fakhar Zaman‘s change of player agent.
On Tuesday morning, a post was shared from the X handle of Fakhar Zaman’s elder brother, announcing the cricketer’s separation from his player agent.
In a message posted on the social media platform X, Gohar Zaman confirmed as an elder brother that Fakhar Zaman is no longer part of the agency.
According to sources, it was reported that the reason for Fakhar’s departure from the agency stemmed from the poorly timed social media post made by his player agent.
Sources further revealed that Fakhar Zaman’s close circle suspects that the post was intended to benefit another cricketer, placing Fakhar in a difficult position.

It is important to note that Fakhar Zaman has neither secured a central contract nor a spot in the white-ball team. Prior to the social media post, his name was also mentioned in the running for captaincy.
Now, sources close to the cricketer assert that Fakhar Zaman has not changed his player agent, and the tweet from his brother’s alleged X account has been deleted.
The tweet from Gohar Zaman’s account regarding Fakhar Zaman’s disassociation with his player agent has since been removed.
Previously, rumors had also circulated about Shaheen Afridi changing his player agent.
