Fatima Sana contributed a solid unbeaten 37 off 24 balls, including five boundaries. Aliya Riaz, on the other hand, reached her second T20I half-century, remaining not out with 52 off 39 balls, featuring five fours and a six.

For South Africa, Marizanne Kapp and Tumi Sekhukhune each took two wickets. Earlier, South Africa, having been put into bat first, scored 132 for 4 in their allotted 20 overs.
