Prior to the upcoming Test match, the Pakistan Test squad held its inaugural practice session today at Rawalpindi Stadium. The session lasted for three hours, during which the Pakistan cricket team focused on honing their skills while the England players opted for a day of rest.
Both teams are scheduled to participate in practice sessions daily, starting at 10 AM. During the practice, head coach Jason Gillespie and captain Shan Masood, along with curator Tony Hemming, inspected the pitch preparation. Players also took the opportunity to assess the pitch before their training, where efforts were made to reduce moisture on the surface using fans.
Sources indicate that the curators have been instructed to prepare the pitch in a manner that favors spinners for the third Test. The Pakistan team plans to leverage spin bowlers’ strengths, similar to their strategy during the Multan Test.

On another note, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the ticket sales for the third Test between Pakistan and England. Entry will be free on the first day for the premium category, while tickets will be required for the remaining four days.
The first two matches of the three-match Test series were played at Multan Stadium, where the visiting team won the first match by an innings and 47 runs. In contrast, the Pakistan team claimed victory in the second Test by 152 runs. The decisive third match is set to commence on October 24 in Rawalpindi.
