The training camp for six Pakistan players ahead of the T20 series against Australia has concluded in Karachi, and these players will depart for Australia on November 10. The players underwent five days of training at the National Bank Cricket Arena, where they practiced fielding, catching, batting, and bowling. Additionally, to adapt to Australian conditions, the batters also practiced on marble slabs.
Omer Bin Yousuf spoke to the media, mentioning that his preferred batting positions are opening or one-down, but he has experience batting at the sixth position as well and is prepared to perform there if needed. Left-arm fast bowler Jehandaad Khan also stated that if given the opportunity, he would prove his selection was the right decision.
The six players from Pakistan’s T20 squad—Usman Khan, Abbas Afridi, Omer Bin Yousuf, Jehandaad Khan, Sahibzada Farhan, and Sufyan Maqeem—have now returned to their homes. They will head to Australia on November 10, where the first T20 match between Pakistan and Australia will take place on November 14.
