The President’s Cup is set to kick off on 3 October with nine departmental cricket teams competing in a 50-over format across five cities. The tournament will feature 19 matches, with semi-finals scheduled for 13 and 14 October, and the grand final on 16 October.
All matches will be played during the day, starting at 9:30 AM. Further details about the venues and timings for the semi-finals and final will be revealed later.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has allocated a prize pool of PKR 7.75 million for the competition. The champions will take home PKR 5 million, while the runners-up will be awarded PKR 2.5 million.
Squads – President’s Cup 2024-2025
Group A consists of teams from the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Khan Research Laboratories (KRL), State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), and Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA). Group B includes Eshaal Associates, Ghani Glass, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Pakistan Television (PTV), and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), who are the defending champions.

SNGPL will begin their title defense on 3 October, facing Ghani Glass at Saeed Sports City, Bedian, Lahore. Group A matches will be hosted in Abbottabad, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi, while Faisalabad and Lahore will host Group B matches.
